AND:War,
Well, lets consider the degrees of war.
I continue to read the Arab and Persian news watching Syria.  Our
current administration appears to be marginalizing the significance of
the Alawite 12er Mysticism and their ties to the Iranian Shia’s.

The Alawites are followers of Ali considered the first Shi'a Imam and
the fourth Rightly Guided Caliph.
The provocation of the West was foretold in the Hadiths and is a key
item to watch for in their eschatology.  They are looking forward to
this provocation which starts a war that kills 1/3 of mankind.   2
billon people give or take.

 Well if this is the war you are referring to.  i suspect the one that
kicks off the final week of Daniel.

This period of war translates to a WW2 Nazi Holocaust every day for 7 years.

AND:We are the most powerful but with power comes the responsibility
to use it wisely and only for the benefit of our country and within
the confines of the Constitution before it was turned into another
piece of paper.

AND:The further we get from the constitution the more I feel as a
mercenary versus a veteran....make sense?

AND:Each destroyer carries about 90 cruise missiles--Tomahawks.  Cost
is just under $1million apiece. There are various
models/configurations, but in essence they are 1000 pounders.  So
you've got 450 cruise missiles available for use, plus whatever might
be below surface.  This won't be a "tens of millions" dollar
effort....unless you consider high multiples as being in the ball
park.

I really have to wonder if there are 200 significant Tactical or
Strategic Targets in all of Syria.  Sounds crazy I know....but really,
there isn't much there to take out.  Some targets will certainly be
off limits.  Assad has probably relocated any artillery he wants to
keep into a nearby Mosque or into heavily populated areas.
